contras
A
- hypersensitivity
- injury time >3 hours

indications
A
- significant trauma (<3hrs) with signs of hypovolaemic shock
- significant active haemorrhaging requiring tourniquet or haemostatic dressings
- suspected head injury (<3hrs) with GCS motor 4 or below
- severe PPH >1000ml with hypovolaemia and birth <3hrs
