What is a drive?
Subconscious desire to react to stimuli
Sensory threshold?
High to low, amount of stimulus required to obtain a reaction

Attitude towards life

Absence of fear towards a situation

Environmentally conditioned acceptance of safety

Tendency to react aggressively to stimuli
Hardness
Resiliency toward unpleasant experiences
Softness
Remembering unpleasant experiences
Prey
Drive to bite/kill prey (refusal to release while playing tug or when sleeve happy)
Fight
Drive to measure physical prowess against rivals (same as rowdy human)
Guard
Drive to warm intruders by barking, growling, biting to protect territory (such as yard or car)
Protection
Drive to defend the pack leader (handler)
Rank
Drive I achieve higher rank in the pack (growling or biting handler under stress)
Survival
Fight or flight
Fight- attack real or imagined danger
Flight- flee from real or imagined danger
Hunting
Drive to pursue
Tracking
Drive to follow ground disturbance odors (animal tracks or footprints)
Air scent
Drive to follow windborne scents
Retrieve
Drive to bring prey to the pack
Trainability
Drive to follow desires of pack leader (handler)
Homing
Drive to return to territory or pack (handler)

Drive for physical contact with pack members
