- 60-90% heart rate.
- to much of this type of training leads to overuse injury’s

A
- high intensity of short bursts while still maintaining longer slower styles of training.
- less structured with no predetermined structure.
- own pace, own choices own decisions
- better for beginner athletes

what is interval training
A
- involves periods of structured work with rest periods in set pattern that match the athletes sport and condition levels.
- less chances of overuse injuries
- can target different areas of sport ( frequency, intensity, duration).
