Trading Tight Bear Channels: Video 44 A, B, C & D Flashcards
In a tight bear channel, only trade in the direction of the trend.
How do you know if a channel is tight? If pullbacks only last 1-3 bars.
In tight channels, never trade against the trend.
Every bear trend is always forming wedges, it’s normal. The target for a wedge is the top of the channel (where the red dot is). If it breaks strongly above that, then the start of the wedge is the next target.
A tight bear channel is a breakout on a higher time frame chart
A tight bear channel always looks like it’s going to reverse
The first reversal up in a tight bear channel is usually minor
Resistance in a tight bear trend can either be the breakout point or the last higher low
