How pack works?
Bleed from en is precooled with fan air than cooled again via ram and then sent to compressor, cooled again, dehumified, expanded in the turbine.
What is controlling acsc?
Each one is controlling the its bypass valve( between compressor and turbine), controls the hot air pressure regulator valve and ram air flap used in the cooling phases after precooler. The 3 zones are monitoled by all acsc;
Is precooler part of packs?
No
What are the indications on ecam bleed?
From bottom page. Before Precooler pressure, aft precooler temperature, temperature at compressor outlet and temperature after the turbine.
What is controlling the pack pb?
Is controlling the pack valve that cuts the bleed between precooler and pack
Describe the pack valve, how operate, what, and in case of fire Ono bleed
Is prenumativally operated and electrically controlled. Without pressure is closed via spring. In case of overheat, fire/ditching pb is auto close.
Describe the air conditioning after packs
Air after turbine is send to the mixer where hot air valves mixes with hot bleed air for the precooler and cabin air using 2 fans.
How to control the cabin mixer fans?
Use the cabin fans on ventilation panel.
What is controlling hot air pressure regulator valve?
Is controlling the pressure before the hot air trim valve
What is the position of the ram air flap during takeoff landing and on gnd
Closed but opens at low speed during landing
Which zone is controlled by acsc 1 and by acsc2? How many lanes do they have?
1 is cockpit, 2 is 2 cabin zones. 2 lanes per acsc, one active one sby
What happens to apu bleed if Xbleed is auto?
It feeds also the pack2. Ps in case of eng1 fail don’t use apu bleed
