Socratic Dialogue

A

Asking questions. Forcing people for reasons. Analyse key terms. Find the correct definition to find the truth.
1. Think of a question starting with what is.
2. They give a definition that comes straight to their mind with using common sense.
3. Socrates destroys their definition with a counter example.
4. They agree with Socrates in a grovelling manner then someone else steps in.
5. Then the process begins again.
6. He asks leading and distracting questions to which the listener agrees which gives Socrates the reply he wants.

A

Perception, true judgement and true judgement with an account. Socrates believes that knowledge is more useful than true beliefs because knowledge is justified true beliefs which means that there is evidence to show that something is true. However a true belief is not a justified belief.

A

A

Why Socrates should escape?

A

People will blame his friends because they will consider them as bad people for not helping him escape and not raise money for a friend in need.

Socrates will leave his wife a widow and he has a job of staying alive and look after the children who will become orphans if he dies.

Jesus was born in 4 BCE and died in 30 CE in Jerusalem on the roman Cross. A man called Caesar Augustus had allowed Herod the great to rule Jerusalem and he died soon after Jesus was born. Jesus’s whole life was spent with the romans in charge of Jerusalem. As he grew up his life had been spent by the Tiberias had become the emperor of Rome. He put a man called Pontius Pilate in charge of Judea which was the southern part of Palestine. He was a cruel leader and was continuously upsetting the Jews. He was the man who sent Jesus to death.

What is Q?

A

Q is a German word quel which is a written collection of Jesus’s sayings. It is only found in the gospel of Mathew and Luke, not in the mark.

Luke says angel Gabriel visits Marry in person.

A

It is a Christian belief where you sprinkle water on their fore head and amercing the head of the child in the water. The aim of baptism is that to remove evil out of the child, to obey the command of Christ and publicly announce the faith of Christ. Mathew, mark, Luke all talk about Baptism. John talks about the descent of spirit when Jesus got baptised but it does not talk about baptism it self.
