iliacus TP

A

(Medial to ASIS, deep in iliac fossa)

  • Ipsilateral with foot on the table
  • Can I have you bend your knees up =>put knees up on docs thigh and cross legs 1 over another=> induce flexion and because the legs are over one another => also induces ER

(2/3 from the ASIS => midline of body)

§ Treat:

· Doc puts foot on table and puts pts knees on them

· Marked hip flexion and then pull feet and ankles toards trhe TP

  • Treat: flex high and knee to 90; ER/IR to fine tune

· Pull ankle to you.
