A
GIT - nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea
CNS - tremor, hyperreflexia, ataxia
CVS (rare) - QT prolongation, arrhythmias

Investigations for lithium toxicity
A
ECG
6 hourly lithium levels
UEC
Serum sodium

Decontamination and enhanced elimination for lithium toxicity
A
Whole bowel irrigation within 4 hours if > 50g ingested (requires intubation)
Dialysis (rarely needed) - coma/seizures, serum lithium >4 + renal impairment, serum lithium >5

Disposition for lithium toxicity
A
If serum lithium falls < 1.5 + asymptomatic –> home
