Domestic tourism hasn’t changed that much due to the fact that it is still just as easy to travel around a country as it was before. However, interest has increased a little due to increased interest in tourism in general.

The increased availability of air travel has meant that travelling abroad is cheaper and easier than before. Therefore, the number of people going abroad has increased rapidly over the past century.
