Tourism is the movement of people from one place to another for a short period of time, usually for leisure
Who is a Tourist?
A Tourist ie a person who is travelling or visiting a place for pleasure
Who is a excursionist?
People who visit a place but sleeps away from the destination

ii) Regional Tourist
iii) Domestic Tourist
Define International Tourist
A tourist who travels outside the geographical region of their home country
Define Regional Tourist
A tourist who travels to places within the same geographical region as their home country
Define Domestic Tourist
When people simply take a vacation in a different part of their own country
What is Eco-Tourism?
Tourism in order to watch wildfire or visit natural attractions

ii) Soft ecotourist
iii) The adventure ecotourist

What is Health Tourism?
Tourism to visit health spas or to undertake health treatments abroad

Tourism in order to watch or participate in sports

Tourism to visit historical and cultural events and places
