Why is there opposition to the regeneration of Tottenham?

- new housing is not affordable for many
- Afro-Caribbean churches are losing their audience who are being pushed out, closing, resulting in loss of culture
- traditional businesses are also experiencing a decline in their customer base, thus are also closing down
- many people feel that solving homelessness is better idea than regeneration
- LandLease has planned to demolish many historic and culturally significant places such as pubs
