What is the tactical options framework?
The tactical options framework is a training and operational guidance tool.
It assists you to decide when, how, and at what level to use a tactical option.
The TOF guides you to use for that as a necessary and proportionate, given all the circumstances known at the time.
What are the threats scales on the TOF?

Describe the Threat part of TENR.
Threat : means any individual/s or group/s or act/s or anything/s likely to cause harm or that have the potential to hinder police in the performance of their duties
Describe the Exposure part of TENR.
Exposure : means the potential for harm (physical or otherwise) to people, or the security of places or things. Exposed you can be mitigated through assessment and planning.
Describe the Necessity part of TENR.
Necessity : is the assessment to determine if there is a need for the operation or intervention to proceed now, later or not.
Describe the Response part of TENR.
Response : means the proportionate and timely execution of police duties aided by the appropriate use of tactics and tactical options.
