  • Elevated Intraocular Pressure: risk of glaucoma
  • Cataracts
  • Delayed Wound Healing
  • Ocular Surface Changes: dry eye, thinning of cornea, epithelial breakdown
  • Superficial Fungal or Bacterial Infection as steroids can mask these
  • Periorbital Dermatitis: skin irritation or rash around the eyes
