What an organisation introduces a new ICT system what changes to the organisational structure might it cause?

• the ICT systems will need new skills and the staff will have to learn these skills in order to use the system efficiently and their old skills may be no longer needed
• new ICT systems may need more skilled people like network managers and programmers, so new specialist staff may need to be hired
• many ICT jobs will disappear e.g typist, filing clerks, international post clerk etc
• working patterns can change, making them more flexible or due to home working etc.
