Alleyways- dim lighting and lack of visibility for local residents
Alleyway gates allow only residents to have access
Negative: needs approval, costly and resists may lose keys so not practical?

Programme introduced by officers in late 1990s
Ppl getting burgled again and again- bad sense of community- people moving away
