What is Access control
The amount of access a given user is allowed on a computer and/or network
What is Bandwidth
Maximum amount of data that can travel along a communications channel in a given time

A local area network in which each device is connected to a central cable

Used for sending files between computers, usually on a wide area network

A client-server method of requesting and delivering HTML web pages
What is HTTPS
Encryption and authentication for requesting and delivering HTML web pages
What is IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol)
Retrieve a copy of an email from a mail server
What is IP address
A unique string of numbers separated by full stops that identify each computer using the Internet Protocol
What is LAN
Covers a small geographic area
What is Latency
The time it takes a packet to reach its destination
What is a Mesh network
Nodes connected so there is more than one route to the destination
What is a Network
A collection of computers and devices that can communicate with each other
