Difference between outcomes of mitosis and meiosis
A
Mitosis produces two daughter cells whereas meiosis produces four daughter cells.
Cells produced in meiosis are different depending on their chromosomes and the daughter cells in mitosis are genetically identical to the mother.
Mitosis produces diploid cells and meiosis produces haploid cells.
