A
Acrosome reaction - sperm cell releases enzyme from the acrosome which digests the zona pellucida allowing the sperm cell to enter
Fusion of sperm cell and egg cell membrane
Cortical granules release contents into zona pellucida
the contents react with the zona pellucida and zona pellucida thickens
fusion of sperm and egg nuclei
