What are the responsibilities of a project manager?
Key responsibility:
- Successfully accomplish the project objectives by balancing the competing demands for scope, time, cost and quality
Derivative responsibilities include:
- Identifying the project requirements
- Establishing clear and achievable objectives
- Adapting the specifications, plans and approach to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders

Gantt charts are used to achieve the following
- Plan CE projects
- Outlines the tasks that need to be completed
- Estimates the duration of each task
- Sequences the tasks of the project
- Works out the critical path of the project
- Monitor progress of the project to take necessary actions
