- Revelation is the continuing and dynamic process by which God communicates with people
- Jesus Christ is the fullness of God’s self-revelation
- Jesus is the redeemer, gave up his life for ours.
What are some Catholic practices, rituals, celebrations and events?
RITUALS - making the sign of the cross.
CELEBRATIONS - the various liturgies that take place during the Holy Week
EVENTS - the celebrations of Easter and Christmas
What are some examples of leadership in the Catholic faith?
- the structure of the Magisterium
What does spirituality and nature mean?
Spirituality - the human value of seeking, sensing and thinking about the meaning and purpose of life that offers interconnectedness with something greater than self.
Nature - the qualities or characteristics of something.
What are the five major world religions?
Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism and Islamic
Define religion
A religion is a particular system of beliefs, values, rituals and worship shared by a number of people. It’s ideas are centred around a supernatural being, power or force.
