Two ways that human activity impacts the carbon cycle is deforestation (1 mark) and combustion of fossil fuels (1 mark). Deforestation is the removal of forests/stand of trees in the intention of utilising the land for non-forest purposes, for example agriculture. (1 mark). Combustion of fossil fuels is the burning of carbon which is in the fossils to power modern day appliances such as lights, technology, cars etc. (1 mark)
