Action Station

Auditorium or Theatre-Style Set-up
seating arrangement where chairs are arranged in rows facing head table, stage or speaker. Variations are semi-circular and V-shaped aka known as theatre set up
Banquet Event Order (BEO)
a form most often used by hotels to provide details to personnel concerned with a specific food and beverage function or event room set-up
Banquet Seating
an elaborate, and often ceremonial, dinner for numerous people often in honor of a particular person or event
Boardroom (Conference set-up)
seating arrangement in which rectangular or oval tables are set-up with chairs placed around all sides
Broadcast Producer
oversees the broadcast and typically has a background in live sports or live news broadcasts. Will work on the content for the broadcast so the audience has a meaningful and engaging experience

use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis or optimization of a design.
Concessions
merchandise or refreshments sold on site to individuals in conjunction with an event OR
contractual agreement where one part provides something of value to the other party in exchange for something else, pending certain conditions
Continental Breakfast
light morning meal consisting of pastries, juices, and hot beverages, typically served buffet style
Continuing Education Unity (CEU)
non-academic credit unit conferred by professional organizations for formal educational programs for members who must maintain their level of professionalism
Corner Booth
An exhibit space with exposure on at least two aisles, often sold by show managers at a premium rate
Crescent-Round Set-up
seating at round tables with chairs placed at tho thirds to three quarters of the table and no seating with backs to the speaker. Used for banquet to meeting or meeting to banquet quick set (also half-moon set)
Crowd mentality
describes how people are influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviors, follow trends, and/or purchase items. Examples of the herd mentality include stock market trends, superstition, home décor, etc.
Dais
raised platform usually above the floor of a hall or large room. (see podium/riser)
