A

A girl named Bernadette received a series of visions from God. A spring appeared at the sit if the visions and the water is believed to have healing powers.

People go there in pilgrimage to get healed.

Why is Jerusalem a significant place to many Christians?

A

Christians see Jerusalem to be the place where Jesus died and some people walk along the Dolorosa (thé route believed that Jesus took to his crucifixion)

There is also the Stone if Unction in Jerusalem which is the is the Stone in which Jesus’ body laid and washed after his crucifixion.
