  • Transsubstantiation is the belief that the bread and wine offered during the Eucharist are actually transformed into the blood and body of Jesus.
  • Consubstantiation is the belief that Jesus is spiritually present in the bread and wine offered at the Eucharist.

Why do some Christians choose adult baptism instead of infant baptism?

A

Roman Catholic, Orthodox Church and Church if England believe in infant Baptism as cleanses the original sin.

Baptist and Pentecostal Churches believe in adult baptism as they believe that the person should make the conscious decision to be baptised.
