Spanish is my favourite subject as it’s very interesting. It useful too because I hope to go to Spain next summer.
El español es mi asignatura preferida ya que es muy interesante. Es útil también porque espero ir a España el verano que viene.
Miguel hates chemistry because it’s so difficult
Miguel odia la química porque es tan difícil.
My school starts at nine o’clock, and at five past nine, the teacher calls the register.
Mi colegio empieza a las nueve, y a las nueve y cinco, el profesor pasa la lista.
I have five lessons a day, and each lesson lasts forty minutes. The school day finishes at half past three.
Tengo cinco clases por día, y cada clase dura cuarenta minutos. El día escolar termina a las tres y media.
During break, I play football with my friends, and at lunchtime, we go to the canteen to eat lunch.
Durante el recreo, juego al fútbol con mis amigos, y a la hora de comer, vamos a la cantina para almorzar.
I prefer to spend my break in the library because my friends go to tennis club, which I don’t like.
Prefiero pasar el recreo en la biblioteca porque mis amigos van al club de tenis, que a mí no me gusta.
In my school bag, there’s a pencil case.
En mi mochila, hay un estuche.
I have forgotten my pencil. Can you lend me a pen please?
Se me ha olvidado mi lápiz. ¿Me puedes prestar un boli por favor?
