Decribe Pregnancy

A

As the embryo begins to develop the embryo sends biological signals notifying the body of pregnancy, if failed it results in termination of the embryo. If successful the fetus will attach to the uterus forming a placenta that monitors the exchange of nutrients and gas as well and producing hormones crucial for gestation.

describe the Postpartum recovary / lactation in the reproductive cylce

A

After parturition the mother begins to lactate, this provides nutrients for the offspring to develop. During this period so does puerperium occur (uterine ovulation occurs and returns to cyclicity).
