AC ESS XFER: ALTN
AC ESS powered by Bus 1. Transfers to Bus 2. (TRU = AC to DC)
IDG 1 (2): FAULT/DISC
Fault: HOT/LOP or Failure to disengage from gearbox
Auto XFER
Auto Transfers from one power source to the next (Onside, APU, offside, outside)
AUTO XFER Switchlights
FAIL: Auto XFER has failed
OFF: Selected “OFF” manually
GCU Function
Over/Under: Voltage/Frequency
GEN/BUS Overcurrent
GEN out of phase
L (R) Boost Pump
Pressing “arms” the pump.
One pump on - means both are on regardless of position.
DC Powered.
Backup to main ejectors.
INOP: switch pressed out or pump inop.
Gravity XFLOW
OPEN: “open” or in use
FAIL: valve is in position disagreement
Must press MAN then Gravity XFLOW
Used when power XFLOW doesn’t work
XFLOW L (R)
ON: selected (low fuel side). Begins at 200lbs imbalance.
FAIL: valve disagreement
Bleeds Valves
APU has bleed priority on ground.
When:
1. Gear up
2. Flaps <20*
3. Out of TOGA
it switches to engine priority.
APU Pump
D - Doors open (on ground)
I - IN BITE (self-test)
G - Gauges appear
S - SOV Open
L (R) ENG START
When pressed:
1. Isolation valve opens
2. Pack valve closes
3. Associated Start Valve Opens
4. Air turbine starter engages
5. One igniter on ground/Two in flight
PRESS CONT
FAULT: Dual CPC Failure
MAN: In manual control mode
EMER DEPRESS
Prohibited to push above 15,000.
We land pressurized, after 60 second outflow valve opens
L (R) Pack
and
RAM AIR
and
MAN
FAULT: Over temp or over pressure
RAM AIR: unpressurized for ventilation or smoke removal
MAN: manual mode (no overheat protection)
