- 1 1/2” diameter aluminum pipe
- 6’3” (overall)
- 10” wide

- Two 1/2” OST (DO NOT REMOVE) (INCREASE REACH OF STREAM IN EXCESS OF 60’)
- Standard 1 1/2” FEMALE threaded end to connect to S/O
- 3/4” Aluminum pipe handle

- The cockloft nozzle is designed to extinguish fires in the confined space of ANY building with a cockloft
- It should NEVER be the primary attack line
- It is only to be used when supported and protected by an additional conventional H/L
Who carries the cockloft nozzle?
The cockloft nozzle is carried by all Squad companies and Division vehicles.
Where is the preferred location for the operation of the cockloft nozzle in a NFP?
When using a cockloft nozzle in a NFP MD, the preferred location for operation is IMMEDIATELY inside the apartment door. (Think protection)
What size hole is needed in ceiling in order for the cockloft nozzle to fit?
A hole approximately 3’ x 3’ in needed in the ceiling in order for the cockloft nozzle to fit.
*The clearing b/t the TOP of the ceiling joists and the BOTTOM of the roof joists MUST be a MINIMUM of 4” to enable the operation of the cockloft nozzle.
