Sharpening Metal Tools
Don’t try sharpening it if it isn’t dull.
Keep your angle of grinding consistent.
Watch that you don’t cut yourself while sharpening the tool!
Bonus: Shovels dig better when their edge is sharpened beforehand.
Charcoal for Writing
Turn a small thin vine or stick into charcoal with a tin and you have a simple, writing tool.
Paracord
It can hold a lot of weight, but don’t bet your life on it.
If you cut it, use a lighter to,singe the ends so that they don’t fray. Watch out the melted fibers are hot!
