what is NMW designed to do ? and what is it currently set at ?

A

NMW is designed to overcome low wages and make workng financially rewarding as opposed to benefits (good for reducing gender pay gap). as of April 2022 it was set at £9.50 an hour for over 25s

people are assessed based on how far they can walk, but for conditions that vary from day to day such as MS thousands lost vital benefits.
