Steps to make a standard solution

A

1) Find moles of solute
2) Fine mass of solute
3) Measure solute out and dissolve in a small drop of distilled water
4) Pour into volumetric flask
5) Rinse beaker with distilled water and pour into volumetric flask
6) Add until it reaches the neck
7) Pipette until meniscus reaches the line
8) Stopper bottle, mix it and recheck
