Q

How to prepare a Primary standard

A
  • Desiccated/dry standard is weighed accurately in a beaker(moles are known)
  • It is mixed with distilled h20 until dissolved
  • this is then dropped to a clean & dry volumetric flask and the beaker is rinsed with distilled water into the volumetric flask
  • the volumetric flask is topped up dropwise and stoppered, labelled with the concentration, solution and date.
