What is the titration method?

Answer 1

1. Pipettes 25cm3 into a conical flask , add a phenolphthalein indicator
2. Fill a burette with an acid of a known concentration
3. Take the initial reading on the burette and record it
4. While slowly swirling the flask use the tap to slowly add the acid into the alkali
5. When the first permanent colour change happens stop adding the acid
6. Record the final volume in the burette
7. Repeat until titrates are within 0.05cm
