Q

How do you calculate the mass of a product or reactant given in a equation e.g “ how much oxygen can I make from 40 g of hydroxide?”

A

Work out the mr of the substance with the given mass and the substance your being asked to find , then divide the substance with the given mass by itself to get one and then times it by the mass in the equation. If you then do the same on the other side with the reactant/product you will get the answer
