Sustainable as jobs are close to where people live reducing traffic congestion a and pollution

Housing sustainable?
7,500 apartments built in the arc, 20,000 new people for homes

Environment sustainable
Developing a brownfield site means less country side has to be built on at the edge of the city and wildlife can be preserved.
Building s developed to use less energy, so less co2 is released .
Soil has been decontaminated and the area landscaped with trees and public walkways.
