Q

Maps too. The sun shines through their borderlines

A

Caesura is used to create a pause and is used for emphasis. This quote is symbolising that when the sun is let through paper the map becomes blurry meaning the “borderlines” cannot be seen. The writers point is to show and tell the reader that Humans should stop judging or dividing ourselves from our nationalities because this would cause chaos and problems around the world.

Q

With living tissue, raise a structure never meant to last

A

This quote is a juxtaposition and this is seen in “raise a structure never meant to last”. The poet is talking about humans as the “living tissue” and “never meant to last” are describing humans and how fragile they are. Humans are not strong nor powerful but the poets message is to try to live as good as possible.
