How do you read tire specs? EX, 245/75 R16

A

245 is the width
75 is side wall aspect ratio - 245 x 75% = 184 mm tall side
R16 is the diameter in inches

How do you know how old the tires are?

A

Search for the DOT numbers (first two numbers are the week, second two are the year).

A
  • every 10,000km

  • check mitchel for rotation directions.
