1969- Pierre Tru wanted everyone to be equal, indigenious people rejected this- wanted to eliminate indian stauts
Red Paper (Citizen Plus)
1969, indegnious people resented the white paper because they wanted to remain their rights that they recieved in the begining, they want to negociate on their terms at their time.

1991, (Royal Commission of aboriginal people) Final report was 1996. renewed realtionships between governemt and aboriginal people (4040 recomadation) main recomandation was that they wanted aboriginal goverence or govern themselves. (it was supposed to be implamented in the next decade)
