Apple red
The apple is red.
が represents that the APPLE is the one that is red.
ジョンさんのりんごです。
John ‘s apple
It’s John’s apple

の indicates possession of the previous object (the apple was JOHN’S)

私はジョンさんにりんごを与えます。
I John apple give
I give John the apple.
に indicating the reciever of something (John recieves the apple from you)
を marking the direct object (the apple)

私たちは彼にりんごを与える。
We him apple give
We give him the apple.
る represents the act of doing something.
彼は(それ)をジョンさんに与える。
He (it ) John gives
He gives it to John.
Why did I put “it” in parentheses? Well, because we really used the word for “that” and let is kind of fill in for “it” in this situation.
かのじょ あた
彼女は彼にそれを与える。
She him (it) give
She gives it to him.
…………………………あた ひつよう
私は彼にそれを与える必要があります。
I must give it to him.
Everything before が is actually just one long subject.
・ かのじょ あた
私は彼女にそれを与えたいです。
I want to give it to her.
You can make the “want to” verb by sticking たい on the stem of the verb.
りんごは赤いですか?
Is the apple red?
りんごは赤い。
The apples are red.
明日知るつもりです。
I’m going to know tomorrow.
リンゴが食べられない。
I can’t eat the apple.
まだリンゴを食べていません。
I haven’t eaten the apple.
