Q

How do tides work?

A

Water rises on the side of earth closest to the moon because of the gravitational force, high tide on the opposite side of earth as well since the landmass of earth is also getting pulled towards the moon

A

A celestial body’s orbital period matches its rotational period causing one hemisphere of the body to constantly face the body it’s orbiting (Same side of moon is always pointed towards earth)
