- excessive dose can mimic hyperthyroidism
- cardiac (palpitations, angina, arrhythmia)
- neuro (tremor, insomnia, restlessness)

What are the contra-indications
A
- CAD
- HYPOPITUITARISM
(corticosteroid therapy initiated first to avoid Addisonian crisis)
