Pathology: What are the 4 histological types of thyroid cancer?
A
4 types:
- Papillary (metastasis via lymph nodes)
- Follicular (metastasis via bloodstream/ hematogenous)
- Anaplastic (aggressive tumour, local spread)
- Medullary (familial association 10%, arise from parafollicular C cells)
