Guidelines for thyroid medications:
A
- Don’t stop taking them
- Take at same time each day (AM)
- Don’t take OTC meds w/o checking with MD
- Keep a log of behavior/mood, weight changes & pulse
- Avoid iodine foods (soy, tofu, seafood, iodized salt)
