what is pericoronitis?
inflammation around the crown of a tooth, due to food /debris trapping under operculum
what is related to incidence of pericoronitis
URTI

foetor oris ( bad breath)
Pericoronitis Tx
irrigation with saline/ CHX w/ 10-0ml syringe with blunt needle under operculum
XLA of opposing upper 8
saline/ CHX mouthwash
IDB
Incision of localised pericoronal abscess
