When are an atomic and histology involution completed?
Anatomic: 21 days
Histologic: 45 days
Signs of postpartum metritis and septic metritis
Postpartum metritis: purulent discharge and abnormally enlarged uterus within 21 days postpartum.
Septic metritis: fetid red-brown uterine discharge, pyrexia, dullness, dehydration, anorexia, lethargy, etc.
When should the first ovulation occur in postpartum dairy cattle?
18 days
