How do you identify what Declension a noun belongs to?
You look at it’s Genitive Singular form.
What does the Genitive Singular end in in the Third Declension?
“-is”.
What is important to know about Third Declension noun’s stems?
The majority of the nouns change their stems.
What is the Nominative and Vocative Singular ending (masculine and feminine)
You leave the stem - don’t add anything.
What is the Nominative, Vocative and Accusative plural ending (masculine and feminine)
‘-es’
What is the Accusative singular ending (masculine and feminine)
‘-em’
What is the Genitive Singular ending (masculine and feminine)
