A

Okonkwo built his fortune alone as a sharecropper because Unoka was never able to have a successful harvest. Unoka visits the Oracle and is told that he failed because of his laziness, he also goes on to die due to a shameful illness.

A

The Oracle (Agbala) instructs Chilo to bring Ezinma to him. He pleads with her but she has to. Okonkwo’s second wife says that she will come with them but chilo tells her that if she does she will be cursed because no one can go to the oracle unless summoned. She does it anyways and the Okonkwo comes to.

A

They use an ekwe, or small wooden drum, to announce Ezeudu’s death. As one of the village’s oldest men, he is given a warrior’s funeral where guns are fired and drums are beaten. Then Okonkwo tries to fire a gun too but it explodes sending a piece into Ezeudu’s son killing him. And because he killed him, Okonkwo and his family have to leave the village for seven years so that the village doesn’t get cursed by the goddess of the earth.
