Married couples, and who was more dominant within conversations.

Men don’t value what women say and exert their dominance through lack of responses and violating turn takings.

What did the Eakins’ study look at?
Faculty meetings and if status determined whether someone would get interrupted or not as well as looking at gender
What did the Eakins find in their study?
Showed there was a hierarchal preference as people of a higher status were not interrupted as much
