this is an example pf SCA because it could be understood as a place of empire and colonialism
what is the phenomenological approach?
not interested in the unique characteristics or why the place was built
more on the individual experience
what is the social constructionist approach?
sees places as a product of a particular set of social processes occurring at a particular time
