A

Scrooge is miserable and lonley bc he refuses to socialise with family
He is reminded how much he loved his sister and how hurt we had by his father’s behaviour
Fred never gives up on Scrooge and is loyal and forgiving towards his uncle
Closeness of crachit family demonstrates how being togther and supporting each other and supporting each other is more important to them more than anything else

Poverty and social injustice

A

Scrooge learns not all poor people are lazy
Scrooge that he can share some of his wealth to make other peoples lives more comfortable
Tiny Tim shows how poverty can contribute to poor health
Chratchits show how poor can be happy
Ignorance and want remind Scrooge that turning a blind eye to the plight of the poor creates desperate people who turn to crime to support themselves

Scrooge is cold and loneley and miserable at the start of the book
Spirit show him scenes that prompt his transformation
Memory reminds scrooge how he once connected to other people
